I gave up on Enterprise and the end of Season I, this looks cool though. So was it that the Nazis one WWII and now the Federation are the baddies?
I like the original Star Trek mirror universe one. Where Spock had a beard. That was so awesome.
fireflysays...I lost track of Enterprise also, though this alternate opening is pretty good.
I think in the "alternate" world, the Nazis are aided by some aliens who enable them to win the war. I'm sure some more knowledgable fans here can elaborate...
Wepwawetsays...Enterprise was a great idea, too bad they failed on nearly ever level imaginable. It was like the Anti-Star Trek: Horrible music, deathly dull actors, and no mini-skirts. What were they thinking?!
Nice to see this opening, as it actually looks like something I'd want to watch.
Deanosays...Awful show in my opinion but then Star Trek has been a byword for tedium since the Next Generation. The only watchable sci-fi show in recent years is the brilliant Battlestar Galactica.
I remember they used Nazis in Voyager for a few episodes so even this reinvention of the credits is unoriginal.
I hope they leave the show for ten years then come back with something decent and without the pomposity and techno-babble.
quantumushroomsays...Youse guys need to watch these! It's titled, "In a Mirror, Darkly." It's a two-ep arc; the first of the series' final four episodes. They're about the Star Trek mirror universe, where instead of the Federation there's an Empire, and every character is menacing (minus the gay black guy, still a sissy in this universe). No miniskirts, but you do get both Enterprise women in negliges and bare midriff "uniforms." It's a shame they didn't make the entire series about the "evil" Enterprise. LONG LIVE THE TERRAN EMPIRE! ha! ha! ha! ha! etc.
termalsays...These were great. Part 1 started out with a really cleverly edited scene ripped from First Contact that showed the mirror universe's meeting between Zefram Cochrane and the Vulcans. Not to spoil anything, but it turned out...differently.
The rest was pretty good too...Gorns, Tholians and a Constitution class starship (TOS era) kicking the ass of the Enterprise era ships. What's not to like?
antsays...Episode 1 rerun was on NBC last night. Part 2 is next Sunday night. See a clip:

re6smithsays...If you give it some time (and an open mind), Enterprise is actually a fantastic Trek, possibly the best.
cobaltsays...Nope. Next gen was the best. TOS was second but lacked Patrick Stewart (Shakesperian actors FTW)
Voyager was dull but still watchable, DS9 didn't really do it for me with the whole not moving thing in a show with "trek" in the title.
Enterprise ripped the soul out of ST. The best episode was the one where they go to the cowboy planet, showing the cast does much better in a western than in scifi. Scott is the perfect actor for a badass sherif defending the little people.
