The truly great thing about this trick (that I've seen Penn do a number of times, with different patters) is how he convinces the audience that these actually are glass bottles. They are candy glass (of course). But it's an illustration of Penn's real skill: he's an incredible pitch man. Lots of people discount Penn's role in P&T, but it's essential.

Personally, I don't find this sort of thing too impressive, since the card doesn't contain an engine block and/or a passenger.

Some YouTube producer out there should really crank out a parody ad with (an actor as) Rush being a complete asshole about Fox because he is unable to get enough Oxycotin, thus promoting the election of a GOP candidate that will make it easier for right wing talk show hosts to get Oxycotin.

Then they should have Fox say that he thinks that Limbaugh was only pretending to be an asshole, to promote his pro-Oxycotin political agenda.

Then he should say that Limbaugh was only being used as a pawn of the GOP.

Absolutely, pickleking. And wait for the next shock horror: the GOP will retain both houses, and the media and Americans will be flabergasted. They will find the states where they can cheat, and then they will cheat.

God knows what it'll take to get rid of these crooks now. We're all fucked.

Roger Moore ruined Bond, and despite Pierce Brosnan's not-so-bad-efforts, it's yet to recover.

If they make this super dark, maybe even with some politics, it might become worthwhile.

Otherwise, it's the most over-flogged dead horse of all time.

Great that this post follows yesterday's Rush posts. It shows how it all went so very, very wrong.

I miss rock like this. Sure it was self-serious, and its pretentiousness killed it off eventually, but the musicianship was amazing.

If you give it some time (and an open mind), Enterprise is actually a fantastic Trek, possibly the best.
