Rush Limbaugh Stoops To A New Low

Rush Limbaugh playing one of his favorite games: How low can you go. It was totally out of line.
zombieatersays...

Sadly, Rush is just a puppet of the right.

Rush Limbaugh's talk show doesn't make people shift to right wing ideology, people with right wing ideology make Rush Limbaugh's talk show shift.

He merely says what right-wingers want to hear, whether he believes it or not, which is why he's never said anything off par with the right-wing agenda. He reinforces their beliefs and gives them more "reason" to think like they do.

What is amazing is that there are still people who insist this man is not a bigot...

You know... Mathews is wrong... we do have a view into their inner beliefs... the General explained himself in DETAIL!...

This man is human waste... and I hope i'm right when i say... rapidly becoming obsolete...

brainsays...

Am I hearing things wrong, or did Rush start out with:
"Now, back to genital Powell". Did he really replace general with genital?

If so, what kind of kindergarten name-calling crap is this?

viewer_999says...

So Rush, was the Palin nomination for her skillz, or about the female and horny male vote?

Whatever, this fathead is a nobody who needs to be offensive to keep his show going. Clearly his endorsements are about being a fat bald old white guy.

If the Republicans go too far to the right, moderates in their party will vote Democratic.

If the far right dismisses their moderates, such as Powell, as RINOs (Republicans in Name Only), they won't be able to win a presidential election until they move back to the mainstream.

Liberals can make it easy on them, though, by doing things to intentionally lose elections, like voting for Nader.

Pretty shallow-minded observation.

I voted for Nader in Massachusetts - tell me how exactly that made it easy for Bush to win?

The more support the Nader movement had, the more Gore was forced to try to simultaneously move both to the far left to compete with Nader, and to the center to compete with Bush.

If that sounds like a hard thing to do, well, look at how it turned out.

Election fraud has been going on since the origin of elections, so don't make yourself vulnerable by making an election closer than it's supposed to be.

There are many positive ways to help bring about the shift in society that we want to see, but I think in some areas, we have to be open to compromises and have patience.

HollywoodBobsays...

Rush doing things like this just add to my theory that "Rush Limbaugh" the radio personality, is a character performed by Rush Limbaugh(like "Stephen Colbert" on the Colbert Report, just not funny). I just have such a hard time believing that someone that STUPID could possibly have managed to survive in broadcasting for the last 20 years. I think he's just figured out what his retarded audience wants to hear and spews it with enough emotion that people believe it.

So in other words, shut up rougy and vote like you're told?

Thanks for nothing.

I'll no sooner live in your piece of shit country than I'll live in Bush's.

Your idea of America sucks just as bad as his.

^ I know, "patience" and "being open to compromise" sounds horrible, doesn't it? But I did answer your question, and your response seems to be just low-brow insults. Isn't that supposed to be conservatives' job?

Why is Thrill Mathspews talking to a Weeble?

Anyhow, you can hate on Rush--a Real American Hero--all you like. If the truth hurts, good. You dare not call your messiah a mulatto, but that's also a technically accurate description of him (as is "marxist").

Powell has proved to be both ignorant of economics as well as a massive ingrate, but did that mean he deserved to be called a "house nigger" by Commie Belafonte?

More liberal hypocrisy, and hypocrisy is the greatest luxury.

MINKsays...

HI QM!!! gonna explain how obama is a marxist? hell, why don't you just go ahead and try to define marxism without using google or wikipedia?

no, thought not.

As for Colin Powell, he kinda has a credibility problem after that little powerpoint presentation he did at the UN. I think it's TOTALLY ABOUT SAVING HIS LEGACY.

Januarisays...

Really i've come to realize MINK, it's not really worth bothering... when name calling, random statistics, and wild accusations are pretty much the sum total of the argument... you know your trying to discuss something with QM...

As for Collin Powell... I know his little stand up bit at the UN his a huge check against, but I really feel like Colin Powell is a good man... and certainly a re-deamable one...

I do believe this is a step in the right direction in that regard.

JiggaJonsonsays...

wowowowowowowowowow way to take a well thought out, intelligent endorsement and spin in an incredibly inappropriate way. Who is the real racist here Rush?

*cough* worthless bastard, stop breathing my air

Winstonfield_Pennypackersays...

M'eh - liberal talking heads defending liberal and attacking conservative. Nothing to see here. Sounds to me like Rush put a finger on a rather sore, festering, sensitive nerve with some of you folks. That's what he does. He points out neo-lib hypocrisy and lets them devour themselves in thier own indignancy. It is quite amusing to watch sometimes.

Januarisays...

Yeah it's funny the way we liberals... or anyone with an open mind or the slightest objectivity do tend to get all 'uppity' about racism and the bigotry a 'man' like Rush regularly displays...

So Winston... your willing to completely dismiss what Powel actually said... and just swallow whatever Rush says...

You hit the hypocrisy note about right... just applied it to the wrong person...

I'm curious by the way... does that mean Rush's endorsment of McCain is entirely based on race?...or yours... 'winston'?

quantumushroomsays...

gonna explain how obama is a marxist? hell, why don't you just go ahead and try to define marxism without using google or wikipedia?

It's the redistribution of capital by a centralized State authority with all exploitive "profit" removed from the equation. It was and is a massive failure, but a lot of people still want to live at the expense of someone else, so those of Obama's ilk are willing to repackage this wealth redistribution scheme. Joe the Plumber forced Obamarx's hand and made him look like a blithering fool.

As for Colin Powell, he kinda has a credibility problem after that little powerpoint presentation he did at the UN. I think it's TOTALLY ABOUT SAVING HIS LEGACY.

Maybe so, and he's still an ingrate, ignorant about basic economics and a mediocre former general.

Pennypacker, it's useless to "argue" race with liberals, they're not interested in honest dialogue or minorities themselves, only minorities as victims. That's why you'll never see a liberal preying on successful Asian students and Black entrepreneurs.

Januarisays...

Wasn't aware I was 'preying' on anyone... and of course your assuming my ethnicity... Kind of funny in itself.

It's easier just to dismiss the question isn't it QM

Than to actually answer it...

Is Rush's endorsment also entirely about race?... I mean thats the same argument right... same skin color there for it must be... or is that something reserved for only minorities?... And is that ALL black people for Obama or just Powell?... despite the numerous reaons he listed?
