Wow - I love how you have no idea of the scale of the piece in the first couple of shots and then find that it is much larger/smaller than you envisioned.

This stuff is fantastic. I'm upset I missed it when it came through the Smithsonian in DC a few years ago.

Too bad this is only photographs from a book though.

Whoever edited this wanted it to be SFW, for instance the lady with the arms above her head is naked and heavily pregnant.

It's a shame too that this is online video quality. I'm sure that these sculptures deserve to be seen in better detail.

I've loved his work for a long, long time. His playing with scale is amazing... and it's just so REAL! Amazing work... go you Aussie, Go!

The link shown above was a cover of Scientific American a few months back. I thought it was a actual person! As a wood sculptor, I think this work is excellent.

I seen the show and it was amazing, but kind of creepy in a way too. Very interesting and I will definitely see it if it visits again. Interestingly, some of the pieces were the same, but in different scale; the crouching boy was smaller then real at the exhibit I seen.
