RadHazGsays...just plain freaky O.o but cool in its own fasion.
siftbotsays...Discarding this video. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 4 days.
persephonesays...*save the aussie battler
siftbotsays...Saving this video from the discard pile and sending it back to the queue for one more try; last queued Friday, November 9th, 2007 12:41am PST - save requested by persephone.
ObsidianStormsays...Wow - I love how you have no idea of the scale of the piece in the first couple of shots and then find that it is much larger/smaller than you envisioned.
southblvdsays...This stuff is fantastic. I'm upset I missed it when it came through the Smithsonian in DC a few years ago.
grubertsays...Too bad this is only photographs from a book though.
Whoever edited this wanted it to be SFW, for instance the lady with the arms above her head is naked and heavily pregnant.
djsunkidsays...It's a shame too that this is online video quality. I'm sure that these sculptures deserve to be seen in better detail.
spoco2says...I've loved his work for a long, long time. His playing with scale is amazing... and it's just so REAL! Amazing work... go you Aussie, Go!

Cool stuff.
stumblingjonsays...i desperately want to see his show. I have seen so many of his vids...
Spoon_Gougesays...The link shown above was a cover of Scientific American a few months back. I thought it was a actual person! As a wood sculptor, I think this work is excellent.
pmkierstsays...I seen the show and it was amazing, but kind of creepy in a way too. Very interesting and I will definitely see it if it visits again. Interestingly, some of the pieces were the same, but in different scale; the crouching boy was smaller then real at the exhibit I seen.
vyka11says...what does he make these sculptures out of? they're amazing.
blankfistsays...Why does everyone use Moonlight Sonata for everything?
blankfistsays...By the way, thanks, persephone, for saving this gem. I don't get why so many great videos die in the unsifted ranks. I just cried a little for all those lost gems sitting in the discarded pile.
budzossays...Incredible.
deathcowsays...notice the micro-thumbnail for this on the "top 15" bar on the right column looks like a 300 lb man doing the goatse move
