How many midgets you think it takes to operate that T-rex?

That T-rex really has a stick up its arse, doesn't it.

And they look about 10 times better than the shite cgi that everyone raved about when the show came out. (which I always thought looked crap).

And these things? They be made here in Melbourne, Australia. Yeah, we build life sized dinosaurs here

I've seen the show when it was here last year, it was actually kind of cool... but they wont let you take video/pictures

There's plenty of videos on the 'Tubes, mostly very similar "appearances" on shows like this one, along with a couple of "making-of" videos too.

Not really robotic, it's a guy in a suit. Cool suit, but not robotic.

this is awesome, I knew they were doing experiments with dino DNA from archaic mosquito blood filled in with frog DNA sequences, I did not know it had progressed to this

I was at the Natural History Museum - Smithsonian when the smaller carnivore was there (looks kinda like some kind of Raptor to me, not sure the exact species.) My two nieces (5 and 7) were FREAKING OUT lol. They loved it. Who ever was controlling it you could see clearly, though they had black stockings on to obscure the legs better.

But very cool, very lifelike. The fog works good to cover the large structure between the big dino's legs for stability.

Yeah, kind of a bummer. I was really impressed before I noticed that. Still amazing though. I saw the other dinos attached to rigs and I was thinking that the raptor had some cool gyroscope thingy to keep it's center of gravity under control and... oh, its got people legs and gray sweatpants.
