Ricky Gervais' 80s Pop Band: Seona Dancing

I never knew Ricky Gervais was in an 80s pop band until today. The band is Seona Dancing and the song is 'Bitter Heart'. According to the YouTube poster, a full version of this video doesn't exist anywhere online, so this is a 2 min cut trying to combine all the known clips.

Of course he can sing. He's Ricky Gervais. He can do whatever he wants.
In The Office he had song a really lame romantic rock ballad, and you could tell he could sing even though the song was terrible.

I wonder if they ever opened for Texas.

I've been listening to this song all day long. at seonadancing.com, they have uploaded all four songs the band ever released. apparently, one of their songs blew up in the Philippines and was a defining song of the 80s for many people there.

someone should remix this video into a Herbal Essences shampoo commercial.
