"Speedflying"? That doesn't make any sense. It's one of the slower ways to fly. Maybe "Skiflying". Or "Para-skiing". You don't want your sport to end up with a retarded name like "Ultimate Frisbee".

Imagine how they must feel when they land!

Speed flying?? As opposed to stationary flying?

My guess is the "speed" in Speedflying is referring to the sensation of speed you get when flying so close to the ground/cliffs, versus being at high altitude where the terrain appears to pass quite slowly.

They were flying pretty close to those cliffs, remembering they also need to allow enough room for the parachute to not get snagged on a tree or rock, unlike a wingsuit.

Those who are successful can use the videos to impress potential mates and increase their chances of reproduction, those who die can't - EIA.
