probably not. yea it looks like a simple mixture, though I thought I'm pretty sure its corn starch and water. Mythbusters made a similar mixture and walked across it during their "ninja" episode. long as you keep moving across it you stay up, but stand still for to long and it sucks you down. much like how he was showing the ball and once he stopped rolling it, it "melted". only thing im not sure of is the mixture, though I know I've seen this substance before.
