You really believe this isn't coordinated with the campaign? You think none of the script gets run by campaign folks before they shoot this video with tons of famous celebs? I'm not saying the campaign writes it, but I'm am certain they give editorial input. Or look at it this way, if you were soooosOOOOoooooOOo i love with Obama as these people appear to be, wouldn't you want to make sure your idol approves (daddy love me)? Would they do anything that could potentially hurt the campaign?

I love how Obama is the biggest paper tiger, and yet he is going to accomplish the seemingly impossible... How is he going to save the environment? Also, do any of the Obama-faithful realize that Obama (nor Hillary) has any intentions of getting out of Iraq. Can't people do any research or be any bit objective, or do they have to listen to the crap the media puts out.

I don't mind Obama trying to use a message of hope in his campaign. It beats the hell out of the negative shit from the Clinton campaign. However this ad is WAY over the top. Obama, Obama, Obama, Obama......Okay, I get it, it's his name. That repetitive shit sounds more like a lame attempt at brainwashing than an attempt to spread a message of hope.

I still support Obama, only because he's a sight better than Clinton, and a HELL of a lot better than McCain. But this ad is an embarrassment. The Obama campaign should pull it immediately.

I just can't upvote this. I didn't mind the first one, as at least that was just putting his words to music. But this? This would turn me OFF voting for Obama... if I were in the US to begin with.

I don't think this can do any good for his campaign, it's far too blatant, far too similar to Nazi et al propaganda.

Not a good move, not at all.

Don't hate the player, hate the game.

American soundbite politics bites. There is no way to distill anything meaningful into a 30 second ad or 3 minute news segment. I agree that this is corny and phony, but no more so than Hillary's Jack Nicholson ad or her 3:00 ad or McCain's geriatric rave for that matter. Long thoughtful discussions just don't sell enough hamburgers.

Would you prefer a fear campaign?

You Think Obama voters are a cult? Wasn't that a right wing talking point a couple weeks ago?

I agree the video is silly, and not as good as the "Yes We Can" video, but this type of advertising is working for his campaign in an effort to get young people to vote. Just like Hillary's 3AM Fear Campaign is motivating old people paranoid people to vote.

Who do you want in charge of the country, old paranoid bitter lady, or young guy who knows that a computer is.

Guess who started the revolution, and guess which parasitic bacteria latched on to the softer "change". Pff.

Still, change is better than the current status quo, even if Obama doesn't have a clue as to how to do it. Like Socrates, it's better to have no answers than to have all the wrong answers. I just hope Obama can realign the divebomber that America is at present.
