They removed 'indivisible' too. HORRORS! We've already proven we're divisible.

So they ran the pledge of allegiance as it was originally written. Good on them. "Under god" was added in the late 50's. When my father was in elementary school, he didn't have to say "under god". I think we should go back to the original way of doing things.

liberty & justice for all is much more meanful to me than 'under god' which is just a word that carries not weight.

I much preferred Pledge classic to New Pledge anyhow.
Pledge of Allegiance that is, not furniture polish.

I find it interesting that "Under God" itself wasn't added to the pledge until 1954, and that the original salute was the "bellamy salute" - which looked just like Hitler's preferred method of recognition.
