It's not just writing music - it's a the fact that they did it all while limiting themselves to certain sounds - and thinking of how to use those sounds to make different sounds.
To rephrase: I'm very impressed.
djsunkidsays...Nice, glad to see some more trackers on the site! I was a st3 guy, so when impulse tracker arrived, it was like mana from the heavens. I produced a LOT of tracks in IT from 1995 to 1998.
