For a crap game... APB had a really nice character creator.

This is "public testing version #1" so to speak, watch the video posted by GDGD (link in Zyrxil's comment) for the "public testing version #2" with has quite improved. Still more than 2 months to its release, there will be even more improvements.

Not yet, I do not think? Soon, though. (and not CCP soon either, actual soon I do believe)

Yeah, the heads are way too small at the moment, but considering the scope of the system it might not be the easiest thing to fix. Here's hoping they do it because otherwise it's looking really slick.

I searched for other vids here but couldn't find them .
The customisation looks more streamlined in the male vid, and I like the musculature overlay. I really hope these ideas are implemented in more RPGs in future releases.

I really dig the background music. But I'm guessing I won't be able to purchase it before the game release.

EVEs one of those games thats brilliant in so many ways, but where its bad, its horrendous. Its one of those games I always suggest people play before WoW, so they can see what a good MMO is like.

Simply awesome; no doubt it makes whoever designed the Oblivion/Fallout character creators rather ashamed of themselves.

So, this is neat and all, but when I'm done making my character, do I still spend the rest of my game in my spaceship and only see these characters through communication dialogs? If so, this is the most gigantic waste of character creation I've ever seen.

Eh it's interesting. But you can tell that the base head was built using a male mesh which skews the ability to make a proper female head.

I notice the apparent lack of ability to attach really huge tits. They obviously don't know gamers very well.
