Basically UFC with armour and swords.... that is awesome

Excellent. I'll watch that anytime.
Did anyone else notice that graphic seemed to indicate it was supposed to be a 5 round match...and the ring girl came in the ring and walked around with a #4 card, indicating round 4 was coming next...but it ended after 3. Huh?!?

I can't get past how heavy that armor is and how exhausted they must be by the end. That's 15 mins of fighting in chain mail with a steal sword in their hands. I'm surprised they can lift their arms by the end.

I'm surprised the ref is in there without armor.

Vasiliev in black seems to have some classical sabre training, which he uses well. A strong defensive guard and very quick and precise ripostes, especially in the first round.

I was really surprised to see the other guy win (5-8, if my meager Russian serves).
