When my dad bought a stereo tv...(circa 1984) We were cutting edge baby!! My brother and I ran out to the "barn" where his band's gear was and brought in two HUGE floor speakers and hooked it up to the tv.

We thought we'd reached Nirvana, lol

I remember LadyHawke was one of the first movies over stereo TV we watched. I desperately wanted it to be a good movie since the sound was so cool.

I remember my parents calling me into the room to see the new "MTV" launch. I don't remember much more about it, but I did have a strange crush on Martha quinn.

Wow, someone should take this idea and run with it - so it's like the radio, but instead of DJs you have "VJs" and music video clips. Fantastic idea.

I remember when MTV started. The only VJ's I liked were the late, great JJ Jackson and of course Martha Quinn. Alan Hunter was kinda cool...but Nina Blackwood was ditsy and that Mark guy was just downright lame...with a capital L.
