The interviewer was an ass...you could see in the beginning he already had a pre-conceived notion that people don't know the issues or do their homework...so he was constantly trying to drive that home with his condescending tone.

The original cut was much better...much tighter...much more suspenseful. This would be considered a "rough cut" and the editor was right when it was cleaned up.
