cybrbeastsays...I'd like to see lightning filmed with one of those super high FPS cameras. That would be a sight to behold.
dagsays...Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)
Looks like Southern Arizona - we had some doozies there.
gorgonheapsays...I was about to say the same thing dag. I was going to say that the mountians in the back ground looked like the San Tans but then I thought, 'hey all mountians look the same in Arizona' So who knows but it does remind me of home.
Ivegotthebendssays...Why is it that different bolts of lightning have very similar shapes when they strike in quick succession even though they're different bolts? At 29 there are four separate bolts of lightning that occur one after the other. All strike in a similar place and all look very similar but have obvious differences.
arrendeksays...HMMMM I'm in the Computer Vision lab at my univ which happens to be in a very lightning friendly place (lol if anyone ends up finding me from this) and we have a 200fps black and white firewire cam...
I'm starting to wonder if this wouldn't be a cool thing to do!
mlxsays...ivegotthebends, I think we're seeing Return Strokes there...
And arrendek - great idea!
deedub81says...Upvote for the soundtrack. One of my favorite pieces: "Ave Verum Corpus" by William Byrd.
