VoodooVsays...if only we could apply this sort of ingenuity to solve the actual problem instead of the symptoms
articiansays...To be fair, it is a start. I think solving the actual problem is many times more difficult. I completely agree with your point though. The only thing I can say in the video's defense is that at least it increases awareness of the problem. The fact that we now need technological advancements to accommodate such a thing will hopefully be enough to encourage a real solution.

EvilDeathBeesays...How? By this guy using his engineering degree to... create a cure to Parkinson's?
No offense, but that's a pretty silly comment. It somewhat undermines the effort of people actually actively looking for cures. In the meantime, it's fantastic that someone is creating some technology to ease people's symptoms.

Nebosukesays...Hopefully they can work on the price with economies of scale... the pre-order is $295.
CrushBugsays...My mother-in-law was involved in a serious car crash in which the results of her head injury is an occasional shaking of her hands. Sometimes it is minor, sometimes it impedes her ability to eat.
I am getting her this for Christmas. This is awesome.

ChaosEnginesays...People are.
The problem is just several orders of magnitude harder to solve.

poolcleanersays...I grew up eating in front of the television/computer, and eating out with the family is always awkward and never social. Not saying that it's a good family, just saying that you're all weirdos in my eyes. Food in, food out.
