siftbotsays...Promoting this video and sending it back into the queue for one more try; last queued Friday, January 8th, 2010 6:20am PST - promote requested by peggedbea.
Croccydilesays...It even got down below 30 here in Florida overnight the past few days, it had been a while since I had frost and ice covering all of my windows.
The only downer is it killed alot of our plants
demon_ixsays...Last night it was so warm I had to leave my jacket in the car and roll my sleeves up. This weekend looks like it'll be beach weather.
I know you guys are thinking "FU, I'm freezing my balls here!", but ffs, give me some snow!
radxsays...Maybe a nice satellite picture of the UK will do the trick.
deathcowsays...it's all good until about -25F, then it starts sucking royally
at -40F, all your vehicles become solid
a few years back we had -30F to -40F for a week solid. After that, it gets up to 0F or 5F and I quite honestly stop zipping up my jacket, its all relative
as a 30 year Alaskan, at 10F to 15F temps socks are optional

It is indeed all relative. I'm a transplant from the South living in Boston and I'm basically fine with the cold now, but going back home I can't function in the heat. I used to be able to play outside in the heat and humidity like it was nothing.
I wonder what the mechanism is. I don't think it's just perceptual, but something physiological that can happen over the span of months.
deathcowsays...Yup
I know people who work on the north slope of Alaska and run into -50F now and then, then they come back to 0F weather and walk around with a sweater on outside.
I'm happy with any temps until my car stops working.
deathcowsays...> Sure you are, eh?
gwiz stop being a hoser eh
Ornthoronsays...It's -45F (-42C) in the east of Norway right now.>> ^deathcow:

spoco2says...If it makes you feel any better, it's 44C here today in Melbourne Australia... that's 111F for you weird Fahrenheit lovers, and an overnight temperature of 27C (80F)
