Letterman Apologizes For Censoring Bill Hicks 15 Years Ago

David Letterman apologizes to Mary Hicks the mother of the late great comedian Bill Hicks. 15 years ago Letterman removed his entire performance from the broadcast before it aired. It was Hicks last appearance on Letterman before he died 5 months later from cancer.

The censored performance was aired tonight (15 years later) for the very first time and can be seen here.
