I'm not sure where you got your information but in general this condition is very manageable and only incapacitates an animal for a few moments per episode.

Unless the kitten is constantly exposed to startling stimulation there should be no issues with it getting enough nutrition.

When I saw this video, I just thought it was cute, and posted it. I am sorry the kitty is sick, I do hope he'll be OK. I know nothing about cats or their health issues (I like cats, but I am horribly allergic!), I did not post as a mean person who laughs at a sick cat.

I didn't read any of the comments so I don't know if anyone said this yet but there was a video of a couple kittens that had this same disease, a loud noise paralyzes it for a few seconds. I wouldn't call that cute or funny really. I have a pretty good sense of humor too. Just seems cruel fucking with someone's/something's disease.
