So, true. Obnoxious, obsessive bias on the left (MSNBC) and the right (Fox), and incompetence in wherever the hell CNN thinks it is. These are just a few of the many reasons i despise television news. And this is just the major network stuff. I hate local TV news even more.

I'll read my news, thanks. Easier to sift out the stupid, trivial stuff. Much quicker to get varied perspective. And, importantly, much easier to get a feel for the prevalence of any particular perspective.

Nice to see Mr. Stewart can indeed occasionally tell both sides of the story. The news media today from all sources is pretty much a wasteland of bias and incompetence. They can't even really be called news any more.

Seriously, they are literally lying and misleading people on a daily basis. Hell i know there's been political propaganda for years, but this is farcical.

It's like holding your fingers crossed and saying "I think barack obama is a muslim extremist" and then saying NO NO NO i had my fingers crossed.

It's all symbolic. They state whatever lie they care to come up with, and then pretend that's not what they said with a kitch phrase such as "it's interesting". It loses all meaning, why not just bang a gong to express that you're just asking?

It's the same as saying "I know there are unfounded rumours about Barack Obama holding secret meetings with Osama Bin Laden to arrange the extermination of the population of USA, and i'm not saying it's true, but he was taken to an undisclosed location and he could have been doing anything down there." It's all symbolic and meaningless, they've just found a clever way of lying.

It's like a 6 year old shouting "fup off!" in a teacher's face. Both of them know he means fuck, but he can't get into trouble.
