Jon Stewart Interview on The O'Reilly Factor (part 2)

Part 2 is more profound, I think, in how Stewart points out the dynamics of how O'Reilly "trailblazed" the way for the crazies like Beck to dominate the political conversation from the conservative right.

From the 9/21/10 O'Reilly Factor.

Yeah...agreed. Part 2 was way better. First of all, O'Reilly is a douche for calling him by his last name as though it's a pejorative. Second, it was glorious to watch him accuse someone of deflecting and then do it himself with the whole "who's conservative on your network" thing. I'd bet he took the "on this network, you're left wing" thing as some sort of compliment.

I think Bill made so much money in his heyday that the immense amount of work it took for him to be a closed-minded, loud, obnoxiously ignorant prick - is just not worth it. Sitting on all that money and all.

It's unbelievable how rude Bill is. Like when he does that thing where he gives Stewart a moment to respond -- and then immediately moves on to a new subject. Or calls the book nonsense. Or assumes he's right when John takes a moment to form an answer. This is the opposite of a conversation.

But wait, what am I thinking, this is how Bill has always done things.
