Irish People Try Root Beer For The First Time

While it may be one of the most popular soft drinks in America, Root Beer is barely consumed at all over here in Ireland. To remedy this, we decided to have several of our contributors in to try a variety of different root beer brands. Let's see what they thought!

This jibes with what I heard from some French students years ago -- root beer is a truly horrible, bizarre thing they drink in the USA. I wish I could remember the dire terms in which the whole root beer experience was described. Almost like Americans talking about balut.

IMO, Dr pepper only works when paired with smoked bbq. She should try again.
I'm disappointed they didn't try a sasparilla, real root beer. Also, I think they should have offered them a good root beer float, who doesn't like them?
