Somebody explain what happened that was so amazing? (i'm sure this is a really dumb question, but humour me)

Well, he shoots the puck with his stick between his legs. The puck is on the left side of him and the goalie thinks he has over skated, and will not get the shot off. At the last second he fires a shot with the stick between his legs and catches the goalie completely off guard. It's also incredible considering Malik is not known for scoring at all. He must have praciticed this shot a lot.

It's about time we had a hockey video in the top 15. There's enough Canadians here from the sounds of it.

Not only is Malik not known as a goal scorer and hadn't scored all year, but 14 other players hadn't scored before him. Malik was the 15th player sent out for the shootout. So to not only score but score in such a fashion is simply perfect.

Yeah, hockey videos always hit the number one spot. What we really need is some videos of cats doing stuff. I bet those would get lots of votes.
