What i didn't get is why noone went in and pulled her out. Granted she was drunk and I'm not really all that into helping drunken idiots, especially because she'd probably make a big scene and resist you trying to help her...

^ Probably because there was a good chance they could have been killed by a train.

the train would have just gone over the top of her , the bigger risk was from here touching the main power line and grounding the electric through her body.
