How People are Manipulated by Fear and Propaganda

"They support the lie because the lie becomes a crutch without which life would not be possible."
neteansays...

the tragedy of David Icke is that a lot of what he says is intelligent and sensible and we should all listen and take not. However, the rest of the time he talks absolutely bat-shit crazy gobshite and because of that all that truth is lost.

EndAllsays...

I don't think it's all lost, but it gets ignored because of how crazy the reptilian nonsense is. There are indeed some nuggets of truth here and there in what he says. He really does need to let go of that insane theory if he wants to retain any credibility whatsoever, though.

Nithernsays...

It certainly is a curious display of ideas. I personally am not knowledgable on this Mr. David Icke to make an informed judgement on the nature of his words and dialogue without further study. But, the way this presentation is put together, does merit an upvote. Some good bits of knowledge to weight carefully with time and patience.

ravermansays...

When you compare David Icke to some of the 'high-grade' crazy that comes from Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Hannity - It really put's the crazy in proportion.

Only difference is: Hard core republicans ONLY listen to those guys because they are convinced they are saying the truth.

ravermansays...

There is a conspiracy that there is a Kenyan muslim terrorist who stole the US Election to become president of the United States (and may actually be the anti-christ heralding the end of times)...

He has a secret agenda to destroy America and it's good people by bankrupting the treasury and turning the country into atheist communists who hate freedom and capitalism. He hates god and wants your children have abortions and be gay in the army - all the while giving free health care to illegal immigrants while executing white people in front of 'healthcare' death panels.

More people believe in Aliens OR vote republican?

... but David Icke is crazy because he suggests Glen Beck might be a reptilian Shape shifter?

BoneyDsays...

Icke describes the voices in his head that speak to him at the start of this video, which he's either completely making up or actually does hear. However, I've seen him recently in an Australian ABC documentary about his career and I felt it showed a rather enlightened way he relates with his son/ex-wife - I reckon he makes for a great father. I really don't think he has a deceitful disposition, you can tell he believes what he says and he wants to see the betterment of society.

You've just gotta realise that despite his good intentions, there's a large part of his reasoning that draws conclusions from apparitions.

canyonroadsays...

Good intentions from someone who is mentally ill. Icke doesn't worry me - it's the followers, a bunch of deluded pseudo-geeks who think so much of themselves.

I hate their sense of self importance, looking at the horrifying WTC videos, smirking and saying 'THERE is the holographic missile, you can't fool ME! People are such sheep'.

Bunch of schizos.. they need help.

EndAllsays...

Who's mentally ill? David Icke did not construct this video, if that's what you're implying. And that's all well and good, but this has video has nothing to do with David Icke. I knew, submitting this, that his presence in the video would ruffle some feathers. If you let his little cameo invalidate the rest of the message, you're a fool.. and surely you can produce more valid criticism than just simple Icke-bashing.
