Enzobluesays...Hmm.. military trained? I'd think he would have fought that slide instead of slamming the brakes and squealing like a girl. Just sayin.
kevingrrsays...Spend more on a real car with real tires and less on a dash cam.

If this is the same thing as a Honda Jazz in Australia, they're not shabby for safety. Monocoque construction, ESP and lots of airbags.

braschlosansays...I CALL SHENANIGANS! These are prone to heavy understeer.
I am going to guess he had the front sway bar disconnected or a 25mm rear sway bar installed with high tire pressures in the rear and possibly had the ABS disabled. The stability control may be crap but in stock form a professional driver probably couldnt do this if he TRIED.
oritteroposays...If it was aquaplaning, wouldn't that make it a bit hard for the ESC (Honda call it VSA I think) to sort out the spin?

schlubsays...Ok, I'm sorry.. who exactly counted the number of rolls? You can't tell from the video, it cuts out at around four. And I really doubt the driver was counting while it was happening.
And, I guess that state doesn't believe in guard-rails ?
kevingrrsays...Chances are he went cheap on his tires or they were worn out - or both.
I test drove a Honda Fit when my brother was looking to buy a car. Great cheap little car for city driving, but like a Smart car it doesn't really belong elsewhere.
