bareboards2@taranimator, rottenseed beat me to it!
truth-is-the-nemesisif corporations are people, & corporations are helping to defend gays from being bullied as in this example than all the gay community has to do is change itself to gay-inc 'Problem solved'. your welcome.
Porksandwichsays...I think it's wrong to tell them to fire her because she's gay. But....... I think you should be allowed to express your dissatisfaction when a company you have dealings with does business with someone you don't like/approve of/whatever.
Most recent comes to mind when the child molestation charges came to light in Penn State, people were demanding that the guys accused be removed. It's not the same, but they were allegations and charges not a conviction.
Teachers being fired for conduct outside of their job and/or their past, or comments in public forums.
Tiger Woods and his affairs, people wanted his sponsors to drop him.
Swimmer dude, whose name I can't remember who smokes pot...people wanted sponsors to drop him.
Hell, people want smoking taken out of television shows due to messages it sends.
There is a history of this......crime related, lifestyle related, whatever...people exert pressures on companies to put forth an image that makes them comfortable being a customer at those locations.
Hell, I'd be against games using Bill O'Reilly as a voice actor because I can't stand his voice after all the drivel he's spewed. Hell, it bugs me when they have him doing fake news stuff in movies/shows I watch....because I feel like Im endorsing him somehow.

hpqpBill'O making sense... it feels so weird.

critical_dFuck it...we're doing it live.
FlowersInHisHairAbsolutely. And the rest of the world has the right to tell One Million Moms to fuck off.

FletchHe agreed "it may be a serious problem in our culture" at 5:00. He's still an asshole and a phony, just like he always has been. If he occasionally argues the dark side of issue (dark, as seen from a typical FOX-like worldview), it's ultimately all part of his self-serving ego-trip of convincing himself and his detractors that he's a fair, open-minded guy. He isn't.
EDIT: I just ordered a new Carhartt jacket from JCP. My way if telling One Million Moms to shove it.

Yeah, but the Bill O'Reilly stance on this just comes off a little strange, like no one in the world has ever disapproved of a business spokesman, sports team mascot, etc, based on looks, lifestyle, religion, etc.
The stance seems to be at Fletch says it, phony for the appearance of "fairness".

Oh, yes, 100% agreed. Sorry, I wasn't arguing against you really.

I was half suspecting he was after the "gay" money/support, since there are many well-to-do gay people who support people who are for their rights. But I feel more confident of that now that others are pointing out that it seems out of character for him.
