Glenn Beck Is Clearly No Longer A Dirtbag And A Liar

Edgeman2112says...

I applaud him for his ability to get out of the rut he was in, assuming it's true. Other people just can't do it or don't have the motivation. It's nice to hear encouraging words but cmon. Alot of people are just freaking lazy dude.

rougysays...

I hate that guy.

"...I just needed to rediscover my values and principles."

Whoa! The mother lode!

His values and principles amount to spreading lies and misinformation to millions of people a week.

If he considers that a step up, it's hard to imagine what he was like when he was a drunk.

RadHazGsays...

The scary thought rougy? Is that odds are he actually *believes* that nonsense he spouts. We've seen his "values" first hand. So have his advertisers. We've seen where that's taking him and Faux.

By the way, have I ever mentioned how much I LOOOOOOVE the fact that Family Guy is on Fox? The mere fact that Fox has to keep Seth Macfarlan around just because so many people watch the show, and he takes all those wonderful crotch shots at Fox... its just beautiful.

bcglorfsays...

From watching clips of him, I don't think he re-discovered his 'values' I think he discovered crack cocaine.

He also needs to stop being a dirt-bag befor admitting it means anything to me.

"Prepare to witness powerful mighty miracles in your lifetime!"

It's like he's a fanatical preacher, but instead of preaching from the Bible he's thumping the American flag and American 'values'.

This doesn't only disturb me for it's level of crazy, you can find worse out there. What disturbs me most is that in America there is a sizable population this will actually have great appeal to. Wrapping the ideals of American values and patriotism up into a religious zealot like sermon cuts at two things that many Americans value highly and will respond to.

There are people that will be deceived by this nut because of the strong emotional impact his presentation will have on them.

gwiz665says...

"Some of the principles I applied to my own life are the principles of this country!"

So.. he's a deist now?

*drugs for alcoholism
*lies for fox news
*fear because people actually listens to this guy.

brycewi19says...

No, he's right. Many of the values our founders had was racism and slavery. He has rediscovered that those are his principle, too.

So, that's not a lie, I suppose!

I must say that I find the ad hominem attacks on Glenn Beck to be amusing at best. You trash the man for his criticism of the current administration yet I will bet you had no problem when he was calling the Bush administration out. Here is a man that has faced his deamons and risen above them. Any allusions as to his imminent demise in the Fox line up are grossly exaggerated. His is one of the highest rated cable shows on the networks and any advertisers that pulled out sponsership were quickly replaced by a long list of advertisers just waiting to get the exposure he brings. The joke is on you.

reluctant_prophetsays...

Fox has not lost any ad revenue, the companies in question just moved their ads to other shows. New advertisers were waiting to be on his show. So thank you.

The truth will always win, but we have to struggle to keep the truth available! As the media is the only store in town.

I admire Glenn and if you really listened to him, you would too. But your heads are so far removed from the idea of personal responsibility, thinking instead that some entity owes you everything just for existing. I am afraid you will never 'get' it.
