Glass Exploding at 130,000 fps (aka Prince Rupert's Drop)

A bit of glass made by dropping liquid glass into water is called a Prince Rupert's Drop. It has some very weird properties, including being nearly indestructible at one end, and super vulnerable at the other. When it breaks, it destroys itself from one end to the other at a speed of about 1.67 km/s.
