Is this for real? Looks shit enough to be a fake trailer. I mean jesus, I wouldn't watch that shit if they paid me anything under 100€.

They know the audience for this is gonna come because the trailer is a blatant sap fest, and the movie itself has nothing more to offer than that. Damn that heartless governor and those godless commies.

I dunno, I kinda liked the trailer. Maybe because I remember the real story really well when it happened. (I don't remember any silliness with the Russians though, that may be the part that was "inspired" to make it more "exciting" or some shit), but I might watch this if it came on TV one Saturday afternoon.

I remember when this happened. Was followed pretty closely by all Alaskan news stns. They were hiring extras in Anchorage for this. They're currently hiring extras for another one, cant remember what. Alaska gives a lot of tax credits for TV/film production up here, there must be 15 reality shows right now about Alaska. (Thank Palin I think for sparking "interest".)

If it's a real story I'd rather see the documentary about it. That seems like a much better production but they probably don't have all that much film about it since Alaska is a wilderness where no one lives and nothing happens. Poor...poor Alaska.
