First segment of the short lived TV version of Ferris Bueller co-starring Jennifer Aniston (before she was on Friends.) This episode aired in 1990 on NBC.

I never even knew they tried! (80s channel because originally based on the 1986 movie)

Well, technically 1990 was the last year of the 80s under the assumption that there was no year 0.

No matter what year it was, you don't get any more 80s than that.

Judging from the title sequence, the remade this and called it "Blossom".
