I can't stand Obama but quite frankly I am with him on this issue. Palestinians were there until over immigration of Jews over ran them. It is the equivalent of having the millions of illegal Mexicans over throw the US government, because there would be more of them in the US than others, and renaming the country to what ever they want. Where would sympathies lie then?

What about tens of thousands of European immigrants overthrowing the Native American tribes because there were more of them, with superior firepower, and renaming the continent?

Just because it's happened before, it must be right? My argument is towards sympathy for the Palestinians from the Israeli people. Yes, they took over the country and now it's theirs, so fall empires, but as things stand, Israel seems to want to just exterminate the ex Palestinians. (Who does that remind you of?)

This is a good post. It shows both fundamentalist christians, who believe God has a plan for Israel, and their Jewish counterparts, who have been touched even more directly by zionist propoganda. The truth is ugly aint it.

I'm an Israeli, so statements like "Israel seems to want to just exterminate the ex Palestinians" make me feel a weird combination of amusement and disgust. It's about as accurate as saying "The US seems to want to just exterminate the Iraqis". It's looking at basic numbers and drawing a very general conclusion without actually learning more about the situation.

It's much more complicated than the simple racist genocide you make it out to be, and much less evil, though very insane. We are talking about religion here.

Across every population of a given commonality (race, nationalism...etc), the dooshbag index remains roughly the same, plus or minus a few points here and there due to how effective the propaganda may be.
