Don't know when or where exactly this recorded performance of Everlong took place, but I think you will agree that it is a wonderful performance. I heard him do a similar live performance comparable to this during, of all things, a political fundraiser in 2004 (w/ Tenacious D) in Los Angeles. Enjoy!

Pretty fun; don't like that he doesn't go up in register.

I can imagine Cobain's voice singing a streamlined version of this song, with a more depressing chorus.

I personally love the song, and I was overcome when I saw him perform this version live. Imagine being in an intimate theatre standing in the second row in the center, looking up right at Dave performing this song... I turned to jello. And he's hot!

Saw them (him) do this in Atlanta a few weeks ago. Been to many concerts, Foo Fighters was *easily* in the top 5 - and I wasn't even a Foo Fighters Fan when I went.

I second garmachi's declaration. I'm not a huge fan outside of this song, but I saw Foo Fighters in concert maybe 8 years ago. Dave put on by far the greatest performance I have seen in my 15 years of concerts.

I can't believe I never commented on this, but every time I watch this I remember why I love this guy's music.
