From BoingBoing:
Belgium's much-reviled phone company Mobistar was elaborately pranked by a program on VRT Belgium; the pranksters hid themselves in a steel container, which they had dropped directly in front of the gates of a large Mobistar office at 5AM. The container had a prominent customer service number printed on the side of it -- a number which rang the pranksters inside the container -- that was promptly called by a series of Mobistar employees who wanted to get the container moved off before 2,000 Mobistar employees reported for work and found the parking lot blocked off.
The pranksters proceed to put the Mobistar employees through a high-art comedic phone hell, disconnecting them, subjecting them to terrible hold music (performed live from within the container on a little synthesizer), gradually ratcheting the misery up in a Dante-worthy re-enactment of every terrible, awful mobile phone company experience.
The program was a huge hit in Belgium (be sure to watch it all the way through for the a killer punchline), and has been captioned in English for those of us in the anglosphere to enjoy.

I hated them, so much... it-it- the f - it -flam - flames. Flames, on the side of my face...
Deanosays...That was hilarious. I don't know how they kept it together for so long.

siftbotsays...Boosting this quality contribution up in the Hot Listing - declared quality by Deano.
EMPIREsays...it was pretty funny, but it would have been funnier had they been talking to someone from management, and not some poor security guy.

bareboards2says...FYI -- to get to the captions, you have to click through and watch on Youtube. It took me awhile to figure that out....
blankfistsays...Looks like annotations are off. If the submitter checks the embed code and removes the two instances of this "&iv_load_policy=3" from the code (if it exists) that may turn them on by default.
Ryjkyjsays...Deleted 5 instances of it but I don't think it changed anything. Anyway, you can turn on annotations by clicking the little menu in the lower right of the player.

curiousitysays...I can't get the English captions to work either as they are pop up instead of normal captions (menu on side "CC" says that there are no options available); however, the English translations do pop up when I watch it directly from YouTube (the yt pop up format vs cc.) Is it a script stripped by VideoSift or NoScript blocking this? I don't know or care since I can see it on YouTube.
Just an FYI for those in same languages-deficient camp as I.
Edit: hilarious!

I was watching Pulp Fiction just an hour ago - still an incredible engrossing and fun film. I'm not sure QT has bettered it since.
eric3579says...I don't think he's even come close. Definitely in my top five films ever.

I'm still not sure what it was about though. Just QT's way of telling lurid stories that would hold the viewer's attention?
offsetSammysays...Hilarious. I love how they couldn't hold it together at the end.
