It actually looks rather entertaining. I never got into Dragonball Z either, but this looks like a good way to get high and waste a night.

One thing that does bother me is how these movies (this one, Forbidden Kingdom, bulletproof Monk, etc.) always have an asian supporting cast, but a nerdy white male for the star/messiah/chosen one. Is it completely outside the realm of possibility that considering white folks only compose a small minority of the world population, that a messiah or chosen one might be black? Asian? Mexican? Even Muslim?

Such fomulas piss me off.

Dragonball was so bad, that the movie can't possibly be worse than the series was.

(I know I'm going to regret saying that when I eventually see it)

I went through a 2 week period where I tried to get into it. I couldn't take all the grunting, and terrible animation. Also it's really annoying when it takes 3 episodes of a character floating there "Powering Up" before they fight. It's just not good entertainment.

I would like to know who comes up with making animes and video games into real life movies... Seriously, I am not joking here... Uwe Boll is as much to blame as anyone else who approves these ideas and it really needs to stop...

If your going to make an anime movie, keep it in its animation roots!
If your going to make a video game movie, FOLLOW THE GOD DAMN PLOT OF THE VIDEO GAME AND DON'T MAKE YOUR ORIGINAL IDEA!

I watched just enough Dragonball Z back in the day to know that a movie trailer with no Vegeta is a herald of unmitigated disaster ahead

just the fact they added the word evolution to the title gives away how terrible the movie is.

A little disappointed that there's no Krillin, though. I kinda wanted to see who they could possibly cast in that role. Guess they couldn't find anybody.

I can't say im to supprised by this. as much of a disasterpeice as this looks i saw it comein, what with them making movies out of EVERYTHING. especially after kung fu hustle. well, i'm going to hate it i can tell but i will waist the money to go see it anyway.
