swampgirlsays...Colbert sang again tonight this with a newly elected John Hall on The Colbert Report. It hasn't been uploaded yet, but I saw this. This was great. Colbert of course steals the show.
legacy0100says...He's a bass, who knew? His regular speaking voice is usually high and squeaky.
swampgirlsays...He's probably a natural baritone.
winkler1says...Dang it, we record the previous night's Colbert/Daily Show on ReplayTV then watch the next day. Lately they've been encoded, submitted and voted to front Sift page in less than 20 hours So I have to decide to watch online or watch with GF, having seen some of the jokes!
wallacesays...What was the context here? Celebrating Veteran's Day? Mocking Veteran's Day?
Hard to imagine TDS or Colbert doing anything non-ironically. The only exception I've seen was the post 9-11 tearful monologue.
thecosmicshamesays...No way its ironic. The reason Stewart et al are so brazen all of the time is because they are pissed that our actions don't match the values we proclaim. I still see them as patriotic Americans, terrific voices of dissent in our democracy.
couplandsays...Just when I thought I knew the daily show. This was uber-cool.
calvadossays...Tremendous, I can't stop watching it
calvadossays...*dead, more's the pity.
siftbotsays...Gold Star invocations (dead) cannot be executed by calvados because calvados is not a Gold Star member - sorry.
djsunkidsays...*dead
siftbotsays...The link to this video has been flagged as dead. Fix it within 7 days or it will be discarded (dead called by gold star member djsunkid)
siftbotsays...Discarding this video. It was flagged as dead but not flagged undead within 7 days.
calvadossays...Anyone know where else this can be found? It doesn't seem to be on Comedy Central's site.
