Arkaiumsays...Does anyone know the greater context of the clip? Is this the nordic equivalent of Mythbusters? It seemed like a perfectly usable house...
conansays...try something new like building proper houses made of stone.
IronDwarfsays...It's a Swedish show where they try different things with a house (already set to be demolished) to see how dangerous things can be in everyday situations. In this episode, they wanted to see what would happen if they tried to fill a whole room with water. In other episodes, they took out an outside supporting wall of the house to see what would happen, or they removed safety devices on a hot water heater to see what would happen.
TheGenksays...Quite sturdy, that was a lot of water.
chilaxesays..."This isn't going to damage our living room TV, is it?"
articiansays...Interesting. What's this show called? I'd love to see if I can find more clips on youtube.
EDIT: Ah! It's "Ikke gjør dette hjemme", and there are more clips online.
longdesays...What a colossal waste of water.
ELeesays...Oops. Wrong house.
MonkeySpanksays...I would have bet my money on the window glass breaking first. Great experiment! I am so happy I live in a world where we can solve these "what-ifs" one youtube video at a time.

Sorry, but it's a Norwegian show.
Paybacksays...Well... that's your problem. Right there!
brycewi19says...They're so going to lose their deposit on that place.
ChosenOnesays...Was hoping this was an episode of Extreme Makeover Home Edition the "Eh, we'll finish it later.." series..
FlowersInHisHairsays...I'm pretty sure all of the water ended up back in the water supply sooner or later.>> ^longde:
