And he is meowing, which doesn't necessarily mean a desire--it could mean that a desire is being SERVED (common misconception about the meow).

The cat was first confused with the little bounces then when she jumped higher he clearly wanted to get off. He first dug his claws in and when the bouncing didn't stop he tried to haul ass out of there as quickly as he could digging his claws in alternately.

It's distasteful but doubt that did the cat long term damage so hardly torture. All it does is teach the cat not to be so trusting in its owners...
