moonsammysays...Not sure if his claim that 800 revolutions per second would clear the rain, didn't check the numbers. But I did some rough math, and if that 800/s is accurate, the center of the rope would be traveling roughly mach 14.5! Would make a hell of a noise, I'd wager.
