At the intersection coming out of my work there have been about 10 cases of a car on the cross-street flying by in front of me through their red light. It just happened again a couple of days ago.

100% of the time they don't even slow down or tap their brakes, which makes me think they're just completely oblivious to the signal even though people in the other lanes have stopped.

I always wait until all approaching traffic is definitely stopping before I proceed through the intersection, but I still fear I'm going to get killed in that intersection some day.

If I do, come back and up-vote this comment. That'll teach 'em.

I'm not a superstitious person by any stretch, but since posting that comment, I'm now even more paranoid at the intersection.

Even though I'm still slowly cruising into the intersection watching cross-traffic as always, I can't go slowly enough for all the oncoming cars to slow enough that I'm 100% sure they're stopping.

I just keep wondering how I"m going to get word to you guys that I've died.
