ether way you cannot be ignorant of the idoitic cultral context that most people were probably christain in that country , so you should just explain to the kid how others might think its weard , but also accept that kids will draw pictures of what they see or are told about.

Drawing Jesus is just a natural part of growing up. I remember drawing Jesus all the time, on the cross, with his friends, etc.

I remember one time in 3rd grade we had to listen to music and draw a picture of the first thing that came to our minds. I drew a duck running to take off of a crocodile's back like a jet would take off of an aircraft carrier. Kids just draw random stuff at that age.

It is kind of weird to me that a picture of jesus on the cross was drawn. I don't think ever in the history of random doodling or conscious attempts at artwork have I ever drawn jesus, jesus on the cross, or anything of religious nature.

Try drawing someone crucified and telling people it's anyone BUT Jesus. They will think you're a serial killer.
