Bird Mimics Human Sounds Parody: DJ's, Electric Guitar.

Oh ho ho! Notice the ad at the end. This is a parody on the David Attenborough's The Life of Birds. It shows the bird imitating human sounds like turntables and electric guitars. The lyrebird is an amazing mimic that uses calls to attract mates. If I were a lyrebird, I'd tap that. The chainsaw is real, by the way.

Thanks for the link, ant. Looks like the vid above is copied directly from the Attenborough piece, with the added "radio" bits. For example, the first guitar riff at 0:45 is the same shot as Attenborough's clip at 2:42. And the next shot at 0:55 is taken from the original at 1:55.

Points for creativity! But definitely fake.

upvote for anything that gives the Lyrebird more cred.
BUT

A) It's not a Central Australian bird, it's found around the coasts, we have them here down in ol' southern victoria (south east tip of mainland Australia).
b) The other video which has the actual David Attenborough version labels it as a jungle bird. We don't have jungles in Australia, it's a bush bird thankyou very much.

Humph.
