I just don't understand humans, governments, politics and authority...
What is it in the human make-up that's makes creates aggression in some and compassion in others? What is it that makes people in authority overstep that authority and feel it is their right to degrade another humanbeing in the name of aggressive power? Literally makes me ill!

What was that clip from the border guard being stared down by a person recording it all? The one with "Am I resisting arrest? Am I being detained? Am I free to go?" Makes me think of that.

Some of the more conspiratorially minded would say that this is all about "conditioning" us to accept a more intrusive government. I think you'd only think that way if you lived in a border region and had to drive through that stuff every day.
