We tried this tonight with skim milk - does not work. My wife, instead of saying "will you please stop wasting milk and act like a grownup for once," said "I'll put whole milk on the list so we can try again tomorrow!"

I guess I could have explained more clearly. I was almost completely sure that I would see different results that those in the video, and my observations agreed with my hypothesis.

In other words, for the same reason that would lead you to ask a question to which you presumably already knew the answer.

Ha, yeah we tried it with skim milk first too, just because I had some in the fridge that was going to go to waste as we had it solely because my parents had been over. And yeah, not very impressive.

Switched to full cream and the fun began The kids loved it and are now asking when we can do the 'magic trick' again.
