shuacsays...That silver mic is a Neumann U87. I had one of those once. Bloody expensive but goddamn did it sound nice.
Sotto_Vocesays...Very nice, but it is definitely not true that ALL the sounds are the guy's voice.

swedishfriendsays...Yeah, some of those vocal sounds are fed through some effects. That guitar sound has a distortion effect and some bass sounds must have a sub-bass effect added. The original sounds could definitely be vocals but he might not even have done that.
Crosswordssays...So basically its, 'look what you an do when you have 100k+ worth of sound equipment'? Its cool, but as far as a feat of human vocal prowess not so much. Reggie Watts is far better in that respect, plus he's got awesome fluffy hair.

Yes, Reggie Watts or Beardyman are more impressive.
spoco2says...Yeah, upvote, because pretty cool track, but 'All sounds made by him' is pretty much bullshit.
'Seed of sound made by him, rest made by audio processing engines'
legacy0100says...LOL This guy keeps making weird faces LOFLOL
evilspongebobsays...where are the turkey's?
TheSluiceGatesays...Still gets my upvote.... but...
I think there may be a slight dishonesty in the way he presents his videos. Listening to his admittedly great cover of Michael Jackson's PYT the beat boxing is far too consistent, and sounds like single "one-shot" samples of a kick and snare rather than a full track-long performance of each drum part - which is how he presents it in the video. I could be wrong though. He also traditionally uses an insane amount of autotune.
That said, I think the use of pitch-shifters/octavers and distortion or whatever is fair play.
