BoneyDsays...A slight correction: according to this article listed on her blog, she began losing her hearing at around 18. She waited 10 years before this opportunity to get the implant.
Regardless, it must've felt like being reunited with an old friend, long thought dead. Very moving.

I'm not sure you had to be quite so short with the sifter to make your point.
antsays...Sometimes, I like to turn off my hearing aid and not hear anyhing or if something is too loud like at concerts, movie theaters, data centers, etc.
