Actually a pretty good job there with camera tracking, although there is stuff out there that does this for free.

Yeah, I'm not all that sold on it being particularly great animation... but the camera tracking and real world interaction (shadows, collision, locking onto objects etc.) (which I guess is the real point of this demo) was very good indeed.

I was watching a tutorial online for Particular 2, the AE plugin that was used for this, and it's really cool. If you set up a light emitter in P2 instead of AE, then it will render the shadows of objects.

No. The shadows were pretty shitty. Take another look. They're badly blended and look in no way realistic.

But yeah, great tracking. The animated bits and sound could have been done better.
