Dennis Hopper receives his much deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Unfortunately this isn't the Dennis we remember. He is said to be on his death bed, having been ravaged by terminal prostate cancer.

Happy event. Sad thoughts.

I was thinking along the same lines. I hate to say it but God he looks ravaged. It feels like only yesterday that he was running around so vibrant with Keanu in Speed. He is 74 though. Sigh .. damn you cancer and damn you paparazzi the cancer you are too!

Wow, had no idea he had cancer, but I'm not one to keep up on celebrity news. What a shame.

He probably never cared about biotech advancement until he realized he was going to die because of our general lackadaisical funding. Same as everybody.
