6-Year-Old's IQ Is Higher Than Einstein's

LiveLeak: An Ohio 6-year-old has something only one in a million people have: an IQ of 176 or above.
Cincinnati.com reports that young Pranav Veera, who likes video games and playing outside like any other child, is anything but typical.
The Loveland boy can say the alphabet backwards and list the names of U.S. presidents in the order they served in office. If you give him any date going back to 2000, Veera can tell you what day of the week that was.
He also appears to have a photographic memory.
Even Albert Einstein didn't score as high on the intelligence charts as Veera: The legendary genius' IQ was thought to be about 160.
"He's an amazing child," said Marci Taylor, Veera's kindergarten teacher. "He knows so much, yet he's probably more excited about learning than any child I've ever seen. He shakes with excitement."

Sorry. This shows the lack of intelligence in society.
One, they are measuring intelligence 80 years after the fact.
Second, you are comparing a 6 year old to a 30 year old.

Naming states in alphabetical order, dates and what day it was, ect show more SAVANT behavior than genius.

Einstein was never determined to be a genius until many later years in his live.
While some claim it was in the high 160's, it was closer to 220 plus.
Newer, and newer IQ tested dumbed down what determined his a long time ago, which should have been.

Show me someone who created the fundamental laws of physics, that 80 years from then, is still being followed?
IQ of 160 +. No. Don't think so.

If this kid figures out String/M theory, and can expand on that.
Sure, give him the honor.

If not, get this kid to a doctor. He is obviously savant.
Daniel Tamment has that characteristic as well.
The boy with the incredible brain. Watch the doc.

This isn't amazing and he isn't "smarter" than Einstein.

This is a fatuous headline. Do we have a measure of Einstein's IQ at six years old? Adjusted for 2009?

Every time I see a video of a supposedly genius kid, they're reciting facts. This doesn't impress me any more than if he memorized his times tables. "Intelligence" has got to be one of the most misunderstood of human attributes. From what I've seen, 3 out of 4 people equate memory retention, or a base of knowledge, as intelligence.

Even worse, people equate intelligence with wisdom all too often.
